What Vision Stands For

Bigger than a marketing agency. Sharper than a management roster.

Marketing for the arts. Artist management for classical and contemporary music.

Vision LLC is a boutique artist management and arts marketing agency founded by digital strategist and creative entrepreneur Melissa McKinney.

Melissa has marketed and advertised hundreds of shows — and just as often, she's been the one on the phone walking an artist's team through their first Meta ad approval, step by step, because nobody else showed them how. That hands-on, diverse-industry background is what she brings into classical music: a creative eye that's new to the genre, here to bridge the gap between classical and contemporary.

Big Faith
We believe in trusting the vision, taking bold steps forward, and creating opportunities where others may not yet see them.
A Fresh Eye
Coming into classical music without the assumptions of someone who's only ever worked inside it — that's an advantage, not a gap to apologize for.
Great Content
Powerful storytelling connects people. Through thoughtful content and strategic marketing, we help brands and artists build authentic relationships with their audiences.

Founder & Director

Melissa McKinney

Founder & Director, Vision LLC

An entrepreneur for more than nine years, Melissa built Vision LLC by combining experience in business strategy, digital marketing, and brand development. She's marketed and advertised hundreds of shows, and just as often, talked an artist's team through their first Meta ad approval over the phone, step by step, when no one else had shown them how. Her work spans industries including music, hospitality, automotive, beauty, and logistics — a range she's been told is unusual, and that she considers one of her biggest advantages.

Before founding Vision LLC, Melissa served as an Operations Manager in the logistics industry, where she led pricing strategy, route development, contract negotiation, and operational decision-making while working with Fortune 500 companies. This experience shaped her expertise in strategic planning, negotiation, and business development.

Melissa is an active voice in marketing, speaking on panels at the FARM Folk Alliance Region Midwest Music Conference and women's conferences focused on leadership and purpose-driven careers. She serves as Global Communications Vice Chair for Women in Music, supporting advocacy, education, and opportunities for the next generation of music professionals.

Her background in music began early — Melissa sang in choir at four years old and became a classically trained trumpet player and performing singing artist. Melissa attended the University of Michigan, and outside of her work enjoys traveling, discovering new food and coffee spots, exploring nature, and spending time with her two daughters.
